This project was carried out during my placement year at Pegler Yorkshire 2015 / 2016.

 

The valve assembly that this packaging is designed for can be assembled in a multitude of different configurations, therefore, the cardboard insert has been carefully designed to cater for every eventuality.

 

Only one component within the valve assembly remains in a consistent position throughout each configuration, so the insert has been designed to anchor around this component and carefully considered holes have been positioned to enable tie wraps to secure the various other components. Once the valve assembly has been secured, the insert is then positioned within a cardboard box ready for shipping.
